5、etter摘要：《红字》使美国作家霍桑誉满全球，作者在作品中宗教思想的体现贯穿始终、无处不在，在一定程度上是同时期美国社会的反映。本文从作者的多种宗教思想的体现，即：清教徒思想（包括从家庭、教育、工作、神学、民权等方面）、服从宗教、权威的意识和反抗的态度，以及从不同的人物性格中分析等方面入手，研究《红字》中的作者宗教思想的体现。同时，对作者的生平和主要作品，以及同时代美国的社会背景和宗教思想的发展进行介绍，使我们能更好地了解作者的宗教思想在作品中的体现。关键词：《红字》宗教思想服从反抗Abstract：TheScarletLettermakestheAmericanwriterNathanie
