4、tudyofBodyLanguagebetweenChineseandEnglishSpeakers1.IntroductionHumancommunicationconsistsofverbalcommunicationandnonverbalcommunication.Nonverbalcommunicationplaysaveryimportantroleinthewholecommunication.Someexpertssaymorethan60percentofcommunicationcomesfromnonverbalbehaviors,suchasfacia
5、lexpression,postureandsoon.Thesenonverbalbehaviorsalwayshavemanymeanings.Oneexpertestimatedthatverbalcommunicationoccupiedabout30percentofthewholecommunicationbehaviors.“AmericanlinguistSamovaraffirmsthatinaface-to-facecommunication,onlyabout35percentofmessagesaresentbyverbalbehaviorsandoth
