2、,IcanstillrecallthefirstexperimentIdidinthephysicscourse.Whenatransmitterinonecornerofthelabwasconnectedwithelectricity,alittlebulbconnectedtoareceptionantennainanothercornerlitup.Thoughbynomeansdazzlinginitself,thislightwithitsstunningmagicusheredmeasifintoawonderland,aworldrepletewithintriguing
3、mysteriesthatonlybelongtotherealmofphysics.IbelievedthatIbelongedtothisspecialworld.ThatmarkedtheturningpointinmylifeandwithitIcommencedmyquestsforanswerscapableofunravelingthosemysteries.Withanunusuallysolidfoundationinphysicslaidduringseniormiddleschool(IreceivedstraightA’sinvirtuallyeveryphysi
4、csexam),IenteredthePhysicsDepartmentofDalianMarineUniversity.BythetimeIgraduatedinfouryears,whichcouldonlybedescribedastransitory,IfoundthatIhadbecomeemotionallyattachedtothisdiscipline.Realizingthatundergraduatestudieshadonlyexposedmetotherelativelyfundamentalknowledgeofthissubject,IembarkedonaM
5、aster’sprogram,throughverycompetitiveentranceexaminations,infiber-opticalcommunicationattheCollegeofTelecommunicationEngineering,theUniversityofBeijingPostsandTelecommunications(UBPT).ThemomentIcameintocontactwiththisbrand-newfieldrepresentedbytelecommunications(Chinatendstolagbehindwesterncountr
