2、ct:Asaconceptbasedongreenwaydevelopment,heritagecorridor,whichcombinedrecreationandtourismdevelopmentwithecologicalrestorationandculturalconservation,hascomeintobeingintheUnitedStatessincethe1980s.Withrapiddevelopmentinthestudyofgreenwaynetwork,plansofheritagegreenwaynetworkwereproposedforheri

3、tageconservationaspartofecologicalinfrastructureinregionalscaleinrecentyearsworldwide.Asmanycaseshaveshown,suitabilityanalysisisthekeyingreenwayplanningstudy.Someapproachesofgreenwaysuitabilityanalysisgivenintheformercasesweretoo　complicatedandtoomuchdatadependenttobeapplicableintheChinesecond

4、ition.　　WithGIS(geographicinformationsystem)technologyandMCR(minimumcumulativeresistance)modelbeingused,anewapproachofheritagecorridorsuitabilityanalysisisdesignedtoanalyseandidentifythesuitabilityofpotentialareasforheritagecorridors.Thisapproachisfeaturedinthefollowingaspects:　　1)Aheritagecor

5、ridorisdefinedasalinearlandscapeelementthatcombinesthefunctionofrecreationalactivities,heritageprotectionandecologicalprocesses.　　2)Inadditiontothephysicalfactorsofheritages,theprocessofrecreationaluseisthemajorconcerninthedefinitionofthesuitabilityofaheritagecorridor.　　3)Recreationalactivitie
