3、pectthatWTOentrywillstepupthepressureoninefficientstatefirmstoreform,andincreaseforeigninvestmentinthecountry.Butforeigncompetitionisalsolikelytocausemuchhigherunemployment,asstatefirmslayoffmillionsofworkers.On-lineeducationWiththefastdevelopmentofmoderntechnologysuchascomputerandInternet,ourl
4、ifehasbeen,andisbeingandwillcontinuetobegreatlyandbeneficiallychanged.Forexample,withthehelpoftoday’sinternetwebservice,on-lineeducationhascomeintobeing.Onestudyshowsthatabout70percentofthenation’s4,000twoandfour-yearcollegesanduniversitiesintheUnitedStatesoffersonlinecoursestodaycomparedwith48
5、percentin1998.Asaalternativewayofeducation,Onlinecoursehasitsbenefitsintwoaspects.Ononehand,onlineeducationprovidesanopportunityofcontinuingeducationforthoseworkingagewhowanttochangetheircareerorhaveanewinterest.Ontheotherhand,itinherentlyencourageseverystudentespeciallythoseshyandintimidatedto
