3、.Wearefirmlycommittedtoanindependentforeignpolicyofpeace.WearefirmlycommittedtodevelopingcomprehensiveandfriendlycooperationwithallcountriesonthebasisoftheFivePrinciplesofPeacefulCoexistence.Andwearefirmlycommittedtoupholdingoursovereignty,securityanddevelopmentinterest
4、s.Wearedetermined,inlinewithChina’sfundamentalinterestsandthetrendofpeace,developmentandwin-wincooperation,topursueanewpathofpeacefuldevelopmentbyamajorcountry.Thatistosay,westrivetodevelopourselvesthroughsecuringapeacefulinternationalenvironmentandmaintainandpromotewor
5、ldpeacethroughourowndevelopment.Wewanttheworld’sopportunitiestoworkforChinaandChina’sopportunitiestoworkfortheworld,andamidstsuchsoundandwin-wininteraction,pursuepeacefuldevelopment.Formorethanthreedecades,Chinahasseen10%growthrateperannum.Itseconomicaggregatehasgrownfr
6、omUS$216.5billionin1978toUS$9.2trillionin2013,orfrom1%to12%oftheworld’stotal.Withthat,Chinahasbecomethesecondlargesteconomyintheworld.Andinthosesame30yearsandmore,Chinaliftedover600millionofitspeopleoutofpoverty,contributingover70%toglobalpovertyreductionefforts.Theseac
7、hievementsclearlyshowthatChina’sforeignpolicyisnotonlyastrongbackingforChina’sdevelopmentbutalsoanimportantcontributiontoworldpeaceandprosperity.Wehavenoreasontochangewhathasbeenproventobetherightpolicy.改革开放以来，中国对外大政方针始终保持稳定性和连续性。我们坚定奉行独立自主的和平外交政策，坚持在和平共处五项原则基础上全面发展同各国的
8、友好合作，坚定维护自身主权、安全、发展利益。我们根据自身根本利益及和平、发展、合作、共赢的时代潮流，下决心走一条大国和平发展的新路子，即通过争取和平国际环境发展自己，又以自身发展维护和促进世界和平，把世界的机遇转变为中国
