4、calledtheDelta—wasthecenterofbluestradition.Bythe1920s,theDeltahadmanyclubs,so-calledjukejoints.AfricanAmericanslistenedanddancedtomusicintheseclubs.Someofthegreatestbluesmenandwomenperformedthere.  Thewordsofbluessongsdescribeeverydaylife.Theyareoftenveryemotionalandperso
