3、hree-stepimagerestorationschemeisproposed.Firstly,oneinterlacedscanimageisdividedintooddfieldandevenfieldimages.Secondly,thesetwofieldimagesarefurthersegmentedintorectangularblocksandthemotionvectorsarecomputedbasedontheserectangularblocksusinganefficientbloc

4、kmatchingalgorithm.Thirdly,imagerestorationisperformedusingablinddeconvolutionalgorithmintheoddorevenfieldimage.Thefinalrestoredimageisobtainedbycombiningtherestoredoddandevenfieldimages.Theschemeisillustratedbyrestoringaspace-variantblurredmovingvehicleimag

5、eandasyntheticblurredimage.1.IntroductionWhenthespeedsofdifferentobjectsinasceneexceedthetemporalresolutionofthecamerashutter,theoutputofaCCDcameraisusuallydegradedbymotionblurssubjecttophysicalandtechnicallimitations.Dependingontheimagingprocess,imagedeg

6、radationcausedbymotionblurcanbeclassifiedaseitheraspace-invariantoraspace-variantdistortion.Thespace-invariantmotionblurcorrespondstothecasesinwhichtheimagedegradationmodeldoesnotdependonthepositionsintheCCDimage.Thistypeofmotionblurredimageisoftenaresulto

7、fcameramotionduringtheimagingprocess.Imagerestorationsforspace-invariantmotionblurshavebeenaddressedbymanyschemes[1–4].Thegoalistofindthepointspreadfunction(PSF)oftheblurringsystemandthenapplydeconvolutiontechniquestorestoretheidealimages.Forspace-variantm
