2、ines,26provenancesof17-year-oldKoreanpineplantedwereselectedinMao’ershanExperimentalForestFarmofNortheastForestryUniversityin1999.Thewoodpropertieswerecharacterizedbyanatomicalpropertiesandphysicalproperties.Theauthorsmeasuredtheanatomicalpropertyindexes,suchastracheidlength,trache
3、iddiameterandwall-indiameterratio,aswellas,thephysicalpropertyindexes,suchasgrowthringwidth,latewoodpercentageandgrowthringdensity.Growthcharacteristicsindexesincludingtreeheightanddiameteratbreastheightweremeasured.Theresultsshowedthatthereexitedobviouslydifferentinwoodpropertyind
4、exesindifferentprovenances,thatistosay,woodpropertiesmightbecontrolledbytheirgeneticdifferences.ThegrowthcharacteristicsindexesofKoreanpinesexistedsignificantdifferenceandtheymightalsobecontrolledbytheirgeneticdifferences.Mostparametersofwoodpropertiesmainlyvariedinthedirectionoflo
