4、myfirstbasketball.Atnine,IenteredayouthsportsschoolinXuhuidistrict(inShanghai).IjoinedtheShanghaiJuniorTeamat14.AndwhenIwas16yearsold,Iputonmydad’sformernumber,andjoinedtheShanghaiSharksseniorteamincompetition.Basketballhasallowedmetofollowinmyfamily’sfootsteps.
5、WheneverIseethejoyandsatisfactioninmyparents’eyes,Ifeelastrongsenseofpride.IwasalsofortunatetowinaCBAChampionshipwithmyteammatesforthecityofShanghaiin2002.Fromthatmomenton,basketballhasconnectedmewiththisgreatcity.Duringthatsameyear,IenteredtheNBA.Basketballhasl
6、edmetoabiggerandbroaderstagetoshowcasemyabilities.It’sadreamformanytoplayfortheNationalTeam.Soinfulfillingmydream,Iamespeciallygratefuloftheopportunitytoplayformycountryforsomanyyears.Andbecauseofbasketball,IhavefoundtheloveofmylifeYeLi,andalifetimeofhappiness.B
