4、avealwaysmarveledattheinterrelationbetweentheseandmath,andhavealwayssoughttoexploretheircommonunderlyingprinciples.AnopportunitytodothatwaswhenIwasamongthe40topcandidatesselected,fromalloverPakistan,byBuraqPlanetarySocietytoparticipateinatenday‘SpaceCamp’.HereIwasnotonlyexposed

5、towiderprospectsofknowledge,butwasgivenaninvaluableexperienceofinteractionwithlike-mindedpeople.Ialsogainedusefulcommunicationskillsandagreatconfidenceboost.DuetoaclashinmytimetableduringO'Levels,IcouldnottakeAdditionalMathematicsatschool.Nevertheless,Idecidedtostudythecourseon

6、myowninitiative.Imanagedtograspthesyllabus’conceptsduringyear11andachieved96%onthepaper.Thiswasagreatsenseofachievementformeandencouragementtopursuemyinterestfurther.Havinghadnoformallessons,Idevelopedanindependent,self-reliantapproachtomathswhichIbelieveiscrucialforuniversityl

7、evelstudy.AchievingthemaximumnumberofAgradeseverinmyschool’s25yearhistory,IwasofferedafullscholarshipforA'Levels.However,IwasnotabletoavailitasImovedtotheUK.Ihavealwaysbeenactiveinextracurricular.DuetomyimmenseinterestinsingingIhavealwaysbeenintheschoolchoirandparticipatedinman
