3、beoneofthemostsignificantproblemsinTraditionalChineseMedicine(TCM)clinicalandbasicpractice.SyndromeisnotonlythecoreofTCMbasictheoryandsyndromedifferentiation,butalsothebridgelinkingdiseaseandformula,theessenceofwhichisaclassificationaccordingtosubjective
4、symptomandobjectivesigncollectedbyphysicianthroughinspection,auscultation-olfaction,interrogationandpalpation.InChina,furtherresearchesonthestandardizationandclarifyingessenceofsyndromeswerecarriedoutinrecentdecades.Theresearchworkmainlyconsistsofdiagnos
5、ticcriteria,distribution,evolutionallaws,andbiologicalbasisofsyndrome.However,itisfoundoutthatsyndromeisrelativelygenerous,vague,uncertainandabstractive,whichhasbroughtgreatdifficultiestotheclinicalandscientificresearchofsyndromestandardization.Basedoncl
6、inicalpracticeforyears,welearnedtheTCMliteratureofpastdynastiessystematicallyandexcavatedtheTCMbasictheorythoroughly.Consequently,wefoundthatformulasyndrome,reservedinTCMclassics,isaspecialtheorysystemindiagnosisandtreatment,whichisanotherbridgelinkingdi
7、seaseandformulainTCM.Syndromeandformulasyndromearecloselyrelatedbutcompletelydifferent,whicharethecoreoftwocharacteristicinheritanceveinsrespectivelyinTCM.Furtherresearchesonformulasyndromemainlyincludes:a)studyondiagnosticcriteriaofformulasyndrome;b)stu
