3、etoenterthegraduateprogramwaivedoftheadmissiontest.IselectedtheShanghaiJiaoTongUniversitytocontinuemystudyforitsbestreputationonCombinatorialOptimizationandNetworkSchedulingwheremyresearchinterestlies. Attheperiodofmygraduatestudy,myoverallGPA(/)rankedtop5%inthede
4、partment.Inthesecondsemester,Ibecameteacherassistantthatisgiventotalentedandmaturedstudentsonly.Thisyear,IwontheAcerScholarshipastheoneandonlycandidateinmydepartment,whichistheultimateaccoladefordistinguishedstudentsendowedbymyuniversity.Presently,Iampreparingmygra
5、duationthesisandtryingforthehonorofExcellentGraduationThesis. Researchexperienceandacademicactivity Whenasophomore,IjoinedtheAssociationofAIEnthusiastandbegantonarrowdownmyinterestformyfutureresearch.In1997,Iparticipatedinsimulationtooldevelopmentforthescheduling
6、systeminProf.Wang’slab.WiththetoolofOpenGLandMatlab,Idesignedasimulationprogramfortransportationschedulingsystem.ItisnowwidelyusedbydifferentresearchgroupsinNUST.In1998,Iassumedandfulfilledasewageanalysis&disposeprojectforNanjingsewagetreatmentplant.Thiswasmyfirstp
7、racticetoconvertalaboratoryideatoacommercialproduct. In1999,IjoinedthedistinguishedProfessorYu-GengXisresearchgroupaimingatNetworkflowproblemsolvingandHeuristicalgorithmresearch.SoonIwasengagedintheFuDanGeneDatabaseDesign.Mydutywastopickuptheusefulinformationamong
