5、[1–3].Thisisduetothemeritsnotrequiringviaholesforconnectingcircuitelementstotheground,eliminationofthebacksideprocesses,simplerealizationofseriesandshuntcircuitcomponents,easyintegrationwithsolid-statedevicesandotherlumpedelements,andlowsensitivitytosubstratethickne
6、ss[4].Furthermore,thistechnologyallowsflexiblecircuitdesignusingmixedtransmissionlinessuchascoplanarwaveguide(CPW),slotline,andcoplanarstripline.Subharmonicmixingisveryusefulatmillimeterwavefrequenciesduetotheavailabilityoflow-costlower-frequencylocaloscillators(LOs
7、).BalancedsubharmonicmixershavetheadvantagesoftheinherentLO-to-RFisolationandthereductionofLOnoiseandspurioussignals[5].Recently,afewbalancedsubharmonicmixersusingauniplanarstructurehavebeendeveloped[6,7].Asubharmonicdiodemixerusingauniplanarhybridwithadouble-Ybalun
