1、2011年9月9日，新任美国驻华大使骆家辉在北京外国语大学，就中美关系发表了题为《美中关系的未来》的演讲。北京外国语大学校长陈雨露，党委书记杨学义等领导出席了这次活动。骆家辉在演讲中表示，美国和中国在维护世界和平和繁荣上有着共同的利益，两国在相互尊重的基础上，不断推进在人权、宗教自由和公民社会方面的双边对话，不断开展重要的民间互动和文化交流，以建立真正的理解和合作。在谈到签证问题上，骆家辉表示，去年超过80万名中国人和200万名美国人往返于两国之间，在过去十年中，中国去美国的访问人数增长了200%多。中国人去美国旅游的数量是空前的，而且申请美国签
