2、PAcodes,standards,recommendedpractices,andguides(“NFPAStandards”),ofwhichthedocumentcontainedhereinisone,aredevelopedthroughaconsensusstandardsdevelopmentprocessapprovedbytheAmericanNationalStandardsInstitute.Thisprocessbringstogethervolunteersrepresentingvariedviewpointsandintereststoachieveconsens
3、usonfireandothersafetyissues.WhiletheNFPAadministerstheprocessandestablishesrulestopromotefairnessinthedevelopmentofconsensus,itdoesnotindependentlytest,evaluate,orverifytheaccuracyofanyinformationorthesoundnessofanyjudgmentscontainedinNFPAStandards.TheNFPAdisclaimsliabilityforanypersonalinjury,prop
4、ertyorotherdamagesofanynaturewhatsoever,whetherspecial,indirect,consequentialorcompensatory,directlyorindirectlyresultingfromthepublication,useof,orrelianceonNFPAStandards.TheNFPAalsomakesnoguarantyorwarrantyastotheaccuracyorcompletenessofanyinformationpublishedherein.InissuingandmakingNFPAStandards
5、available,theNFPAisnotundertakingtorenderprofessionalorotherservicesfororonbehalfofanypersonorentity.NoristheNFPAundertakingtoperformanydutyowedbyanypersonorentitytosomeoneelse.Anyoneusingthisdocumentshouldrelyonhisorherownindependentjudgmentor,asappropriate,seektheadviceofacompetentprofessionalinde
