3、icgroupswithuniquelanguagesanddiversecultures.Additionally,duetodifferencesinimmigrationpatternsandtheimpactsofcolonialismonsomeAsiancountries,sociodemographiccharacteristics,healthbehaviors,andhealthoutcomesamongdifferentAsiangroupsmayvarysubstantially.Despi
4、tethesedifferences,Asiansarefrequentlyviewedandreportedonasahomogeneous,monolithicgroup.Duetolimitationsindatacollection,disparitiesamongAsianancestrygroupsareoftenunderstudied,preventingusfromrecognizingandaddressingthehealthneedsandchallengesfacedbyunderser
5、vedAsianancestrygroups.SomeAsiangroupssuchasSouthAsianshavehigherriskforhypertension,heartdiseaseanddiabeteswhencomparedwithotherAsiangroups.5TobetterunderstandthehealthofAsianNewYorkers,thisreporthighlightsdifferencesinhealthcareaccess,healthbehaviors,andhea
