4、hasincludeddisciplinesasdiverseasastrometry,celestialnavigation,observationalastronomy,andthemakingofcalendars,butprofessionalastronomyisnowadaysoftenconsideredtobesynonymouswithastrophysics.Duringthe20thcentury,thefieldofprofessionalastronomysplitintoobservatio
5、nalandtheoreticalbranches.Observationalastronomyisfocusedonacquiringdatafromobservationsofastronomicalobjects,whichisthenanalyzedusingbasicprinciplesofphysics.Theoreticalastronomyisorientedtowardsthedevelopmentofcomputeroranalyticalmodelstodescribeastronomicalob
