1、摘要旅游产业能够创造的价值不可估量，可以产生一系列的社会效应、经济效应、文化效应乃至政治效应。近几年来，丽江市旅游业发展迅速，对当地经济的增长发挥着越来越重要的作用。随着时间的推移，越来越多的专家学者注意到丽江旅游特别是丽江古城陷入过度开发的困境，古城原有的风土民情与特色遭到破坏，致使古城原有的韵味消失了。丽江古城只有处理好古城保护与旅游开发之间的关系，确保旅游业赖以生存的自然资源和人文资源得以存活，才能实现其旅游业的可持续发展。基于此，本文首先阐述了旅游业、经济增长、经济增长理论与旅游乘数理论的内容与意义
