3、stengagedinmechanicaldesigningandthetechnicalimprovementofmaterials.ItneverdawnedonmethatIwouldtranscendallthematter-of-courseoutcomesresultingfrommyfive-yearundergraduatestudiestobecomeapilotofinternationalflights,foratthattimetheideahadneveroccurredtomethatapersoncouldflysofreelyintheinfi

4、niteuniverseofhislife.In1990,IsailedthroughthehighlycompetitiveNationalUniversityEntranceExaminationtobecomeanundergraduateinTsinghuaUniversity.Outofmyinstinctiveinterest,IchosetostudyintheDepartmentofMechanicalEngineering.My5-yearsolidstudiesatthismostprestigiousuniversityinChinaallowedmet

5、oestablishaprofoundtheoreticalgroundworkinmechanicalengineeringandtodevelopanin-depthunderstandingofmechanicaldynamicsanditsoperationprinciple.Duringmygraduationinternship,Idiscoveredthat,becauseoftheairbornesand,thecylinderpistonringofthedesertvehiclewhichdidnotreceivealloysurfacetreatment

6、frequentlyincurfrictiondamageandbreaking.Thisnotonlycreatedgreathindrancetothenormaloperationofdesertvehiclesbutalsoseriouslyjeopardizedthelifeandsecurityofpersonneldoingfieldworkinthedesert.Drivenbymysenseofresponsibility,IchoseTheSurfaceAlloyTreatmentoftheCylinderPistonRingofDesertVehicle
