4、rysubstancedependdirectlyonthenatureofthemoleculesofthesubstance.Therefore,theultimategeneralizationofphysicalprop-ertiesoffluidswillrequireacompleteunderstandingofmolecularbehavior,whichwedonotyethave.Thoughitsoriginsareancient,themoleculartheorywasnotgenerallyaccepteduntilaboutthebeginningofthenin
