3、ematerial,skipsvitalsteps,andprovidestoofewexamples.Itissimplynotagoodintroductorytext.Ontheotherhand,Jacksonwasveryambitious.Asidefromsomenotableomissions(suchasconformalmappingmethods),Jacksonexposesthereadertomostofclassicalelectro-magnetictheory.Even
4、ThomasAquinaswouldbeimpressed!Asareference,Jackson’sbookisgreat!ItisobviousthatJacksonknowshisstuff,andinnoplaceisthismoreapparentthanintheproblemswhichheasksattheendofeachchapter.Sometimestheproblemsarequitesimpleorroutine,othertimesdifficult,andquiteoften
