3、TravelRegulationspertainingspecificallytotheSummerWork/Travelcategoryarefoundat[22CFR62.32].Throughthiscategoryforeignpost-secondarystudentsmayentertheUnitedStatestoworkandtravelforamaximumoffourmonthsduringtheirsummervacations.WhilemostparticipantsentertheUnitedStateswithprearrangedemployment,s

4、ponsorsarerequiredtoplaceonly50percentoftheirparticipantseachyear.SponsorsmustensurethatparticipantsenteringtheUnitedStateswithoutprearrangedemploymenthavesufficientfinancialresourcestosupportthemselvesduringtheirsearchforemployment.Inaddition,sponsorsmustprovidesuchparticipantswithinformationon

5、howtoseekemploymentandsecurelodgingintheUnitedStatesbeforetheydeparttheirhomecountries,andwithajobdirectorythatincludesatleastasmanyjoblistingsasthenumberofparticipantsintheirprogramwhoareenteringtheUnitedStateswithoutprearrangedemployment.Finally,sponsorsmustundertakereasonableeffortstosecuresu

6、itableemploymentforparticipantsunabletofindjobsontheirownafteroneweek.SponsorsaretoadviseprogramparticipantsaboutFederalMinimumWagerequirements,andaretoensurethatparticipantsreceivethesamepayandbenefitsasreceivedbytheirAmericancounterpartsinthesameorsimilarpositions.Programregulationspermitparti
