3、orsecurereal-timedataorimagetransmission.AreconfigurablehardwarearchitectureisdevelopedtoensuretheinterconnectionbetweentwofieldprogrammablegatearraydevelopmentplatformsthroughXBeeRFmodules.Toensurethesynchronizationandencryptionofdatabetweenthetransmitterandthereceiver,
4、afeedbackmaskinghyperchaoticsynchronizationtechniquebasedonadynamicfeedbackmodulationhasbeenimplementedtodigitallysynchronizetheencrypterhyperchaoticsystems.TheobtainedexperimentalresultsshowtherelevanceoftheideaofcombiningXBee(ZigbeeorWirelessFidelity)protocol,knownfori
5、tshighnoiseimmunity,tosecurehyperchaoticcommunications.Infact,wehaverecoveredtheinformationdataorimagecorrectlyafterreal-timeencrypteddataorimagetransmissiontestsatamaximumdistance(indoorrange)ofmorethan30mandwithmaximumdigitalmodulationrateof625,000baudallowingawireless
6、encryptedvideotransmissionrateof25imagespersecondwithaspatialresolutionof128×128pixels.Theobtainedperformanceofthecommunicationsystemissuitableforsecuredataorimagetransmissionsinwirelesssensornetworks.IntroductionOverthepastdecades,theconfidentialityofmultimediacommunica
7、tionssuchasaudio,images,andvideohasbecomeincreasinglyimportantsincecommunicationsofdigitalproductsoverthenetwork(wired/wireless)occurmorefrequently.Therefore,theneedforsecuredataandtransmissionisincreasingdramaticallyanddefinedbytherequiredlevelsofsecuritydependingonthep
