5、都有着悠久的历史。它是语言的重要组成部分，对人类社会的发展起着重要作用。在历史发展过程中，由于种种因素的影响，人们赋予数字不同的含义，以此形成了数字文化。这种数字文化又呈现出东西方的差异，其差异不只体现在形式上，也体现于内涵上。本文以数字为切入点，对比分析了东西方部分数字本身意义及它们蕴含的文化因素的差异，然后从宗教信仰，价值取向，心理因素及历史背景和当地习俗几个角度分析了这些差异产生的原因。整篇文章分为五章：第一章解释了数字与人类文明的密切关系，让读者了解当今的数字。第二章根据东西方人们对数字的偏好列出了部分数字，并以此比较其在东西方数字文化中的差异。第
