4、calchallengesarisingfromtheuseofcarrieraggregationisthenaddressed,withfocusonreferencesignalsdesignforuplinktransmission.Meanwhile,variouscandidateoptionsaresummarizedandcomparedintermsoftheirsystemperformance,computationalcomplexity,anddesignflexibility.Thearticlefur
5、therproceedstoinvestigatethelinkperformancewithcarrieraggregation,takingintoaccountthepresenceoffrequencyoffsetandfastfadingintheuplinkchannel.Numericalresultsarealsopresented,whichindicatethatadvancedsignalprocessingalgorithmsshouldbefurtherstudiedandoptimizedtoensur
