3、apitaincreasedalmostfivefold,raisingthecountryfromlowermiddleincometomiddleincomestatus.Chinahasalsoadjusteditseconomicstructure.From2001to2011,theproportionsofthesecondaryandtertiaryindustriesintheeconomyhaveincreased,andthecountry’seconomyisnowdrivenby5c
4、onsumptionaswellasinvestmentandexport.Chinahasalsobecomealargetradingnation.From2001to2011,China’sgoodsexportssurgedfromUS$266.1billiontoUS$1.8986trillionandthecountry’sshareoftotalworldgoodsexportsrosefrom4.3percentto10.4percent,renderingChinathelargestgo
5、odsexporterintheworld.Inthesameperiod,China’sgoodsimportsescalatedfromUS$243.6billionto1.7435trillion,withitsshareintheworld’stotalupfrom3.8percentto9.5percent.Chinahasbecomethesecondlargestgoodsimporter,onlybehindtheU.S.Inthe10years,China’sserviceexportss
6、oaredfromUS$32.9billiontoUS$182billion,withitsshareinworld’sserviceexportsupfrom2.3percentto4.4percentanditsglobalrankingfrom13thtofourthplace.China’sserviceimportsgrewfromUS$39billiontoUS$236.5billion,withitsglobalrankingmovingfromtenthtothesecond.Themain
