2、aspeculativearticleappearedinTheScientificAmericanmagazine,theconceptofaworkingtelevisionsystembegantospreadonaninternationalscale. Atthedawnofthetwentiethcentury,therewereafewAmericanlaboratoriesleadingtheway:Bell,RCA,andGE. Itwasn'tuntil1927,when21-year-old PhiloFarnsworth,beateveryonetothep
3、unchbyproducingthefirstelectronictelevisionpicture. Thishistoricbreakthroughcatapultedhimintoadecades-longpatentbattleagainstmajorcorporations,includingRCAandCBS. ThebattletookitstolloneveryoneandRCA’sDavidSarnoffbrilliantlymarketedthisinventiontothepublicandbecameknownasthefatheroftelevision
4、--whilePhiloFarnsworthdiedinrelativeobscurity.Experimentalbroadcasttelevision beganintheearly1930s,transmittingfuzzyimagesofwrestling,musicanddancetoahandfulofscreen. Itwasn'tuntilthe1939World'sFairinNewYork,whereRCAunveiledtheirnewNBCTVstudiosinRockefellerPlaza,thatnetworktelevisionwasintrodu
