5、oinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenroottraitsandnitrogenaccumulationinricecultivars,atotalof114chromosomesinglesegmentsubstitutionlines(CSSSLs)weresolutionGculturedin2010and2011.Onthebasisofnitrogenaccumulationperplantandyieldperplantatmaturity,theCSSSLswereclusteredbyMinSSw
6、methodintosixtypes(namelyA,B,C,D,EandFbynitrogenaccumulationperplantfromlowtohigh).Theresultsshowsthat:1)TherewasasignificantdifferenceamongalltestedlinesinNaccumulationperplant,thevariationrangedfrom0.32gto0.91g.ThehighestNaccumulationwas2.58foldsofthelowest.2)BothNaccumul
7、ationandnitrogenuseefficiencyforgrainproductionwereimportantcontributorstoyieldformation,buttheformerexhibitedhighercontribution.Withhighernitrogenaccumulation,grainyieldtendedtoincrease,butnitrogenaccumulationtypesandgrainyieldtypeswerenotalwaysassociated.3)Highernitrogena
