5、howdifferentcultivationmethodsaffectpopulationqualityandgrainyieldoflatejaponicarice.Zhendao11(japonicaconventionalricecultivar)andYongyou8(japonicahybridricecultivar)weregrowninthefieldofdoubleGcroppingricearea(Shanggaocounty,JiangxiProvince),underfivecultiva
6、tionmethodsincludingartificialtransplantingwithmiddleandstrongseedlingsindrynursery(AT),twoGholeorderedtransplanting(OT),singleGholeorderedbroadcasting(OB)andcasttransplanting(CT),withmechanicaltransplanting(MT)asCK.Theresultsshowedthat,theaverageyieldofthetwo
7、cultivarsunderATrankedfirst,followedbyOT,OB,CTandMT.ComparedwithgrainyieldunderMT,thegrainyieldofZhendao11andYongyou8underAT,OT,OBandCTwerehigherby17.1%and16.8%,12.7%and11.7%,5.9%and5.4%,3.6%and1.8%,respectively.Andpercentageofproductivetillers(>65%),biomassin
