3、liedtoLNGvaporizersingascompaniesorelectricpowercompaniesandrecoverstheLNG'scoldenergyaselectricpower.ThesystemconsistsofaRankinecycleusingaFreonmixture,natural-gas.Rankinecycleandacombinedcyclewithgasandsteamturbines.Theheatsourcesforthissystemarethelatentheatfr
4、omthesteam-turbine'scondenserandthesensibleheatofexhaustgasfromthewaste-heatrecoveryboiler.Inordertofindouttheoptimalconditionofthesystem,severalfactors,suchasgasturbinecombustionpressure,steampressure,condensingtemperatureincombinedcycle,compositionofmixtureFreo
5、n,andnaturalgasvaporizingpressureareevaluatedbysimulation.Theresultsofthesestudiesshowthatinthetotalsystem,about400kWhcanbegeneratedbyvaporizing1tonofLNG,includingabout60kWh/LNGtonrecoveredfromtheLNGcoldenergywhensupplyingNGin3.6MPa..About8.2MWhcanbeproducedbyusi
6、ng1tonofLNGasfuel,comparedwithabout7MWhbytheconventionalcombinedsystem.Anetefficiencyofover53%HHVcouldbeachievedbytheproposedsystem.InthecaseoftheLNGterminalreceiving5milliontonsofLNGperyear,thissystemcangenerate240MWandreducethepoweroftheseawaterpumpbymorethan2M
