3、imately5.0miles(8km).InJune1912Marconiopenedtheworld'sfirstpurpose-builtradiofactoryatNewStreetWorksinChelmsford,England.BBCRadioRadioenjoysalargenumberoflistenersintheUnitedKingdom.Therearearound600licensedradiostationsinthecountry.Themostprominentstationsarethenational
