4、censes/by/4.0/AbstractThetolerantresponsestodroughtstressinIrrE-transgenicBrassicanapusL.andnon-transgenicBrassicanapusL.werestudied.TheresultsshowedthatwatercontentinIrrE-transgenicandnon-transgenicleavesofrapeseedgraduallydecreasedwiththedropofsoilwatercontent
5、inpotsduring0-35dandtheircontentsreachedtheminimumvalueafter35dundernaturaldroughtconditionsandthenincreasedgraduallyaftertherestorationofwatersupply.Thecontentofchlorophyll,solubleproteinandmalondialdehyde(MDA),andtheSODandPODactivityinleavesofBrassicanapusL.we
6、reincreasedgraduallyduring0-35dandtheircontentsreachedthemaximalvalueafter35dundernaturaldroughtconditionsandthendecreasedgraduallyaftertherestorationofwatersupply.Butthewatercontent,chlorophyllcontent,solubleproteincontentandtheactivityofperoxidase(POD)andsuper
7、oxidedismutase(SOD)inleavesoftransgenicBras-sicanapusLwerehigherthanthoseinnon-transgenicBrassicanapusL.,whilethecontentofma-lonaldehyde(MDA)intransgenicBrassicanapusL.waslowerthannon-transgenicBrassicanapusL.during0-35dunderdroughtstressandtherestorationofwater
8、supply.Therefore,theresultsfromaboveindicatedthatIrrEasthetranscriptionregulationfactor,whichwasderivedfromtheradiationresistantbacteria,wasinvolvedinthetoleranceresp
