4、heexistingsimulationsoftwareshavesomelimitationsininheritabilityandextensibility.Basedonthecurrentcrossbarswitchingfabric,byemployingsystemleveldesignmethod,andobjectorientedtechnology,asimulationplatformcalledSPES(switchingperformanceevaluationsystem)forswitchingfabricsandschedulingpolicies
5、’developmentsaredesignedandimplemented.Inputqueuing,outputqueuing,combinedinput-outputqueuingandcombinedinput-crosspointqueuingandcorrespondingschedulingpoliciesareintegrated.Inheritabilityandextensibilityattributesareobtainedbydesigningtrafficsources,switchingfabricsandschedulingpoliciessep
6、arately,anditexhibitsgoodperformancesforsupportingmulti-fabric,variablepacketssizesandQoSmodel’ssimulations.Byconfiguringtheplatformthroughauniformview,userscanfulfilltheirconcretesimulationenvironment.Besides,itcancarryoutendtoendperformances’evaluationswithlittlemodification.Finally,thispa
