3、wcoursesandteachingmaterialstoovercomethatneglect.Itisnoexaggerationtosaythatcriticalthinkingisoneofthemostimportantsubjectsyouwillstudyincollegeregardlessofyouracademicmajor.Thequalityofyourschoolwork,youreffortsinyourcareer,yourcontributionstocommunitylife,andyourconductofpersonalaffairswillall
4、dependonyourabilitytosolveproblemsandmakedecisions.Thebookhasfourmainsections.Thefirst,"TheContext,"willhelpyoutounderstandsuchimportantconceptsasindividuality,thinking,truth,knowledge,andopinionandtoovercomeattitudesandideasthatobstructcriticalthinking.Thesecondsection,"TheProblems,"willteachyou
5、torecognizeandavoidninecommonerrorsthatoftenoccur,singlyorincombination,duringthethinkingprocess.Thethirdsection,"AStrategy,"willhelpyouacquirethevariousskillsusedinaddressingproblemsandissues.Thissectionincludestipsonidentifyingandovercomingyoupersonalintellectualweaknesses,aswellastechniquesfor
