3、entofSocialWorkwithGroups(IASWG),theIASWGStandardshavenotbeenwidelyusedoutsideofCanadaortheU.S.A.A70-iteminventorybasedontheStandardswasdevelopedtomeasuretwodomains,howimportanteachitemisforsuccessfulgroupwork,andhowconfidenttherespondentisaboutdemonstrat
4、ingtheskillinpractice.Thefirststudy,withamostlyNorthAmericansample,reportedexcellentreliabilityandgoodvalidity.ThispaperreportsnewfindingsonthereliabilityandvalidityoftheinventoryfromdatacollectedfromstudentsandpractitionersacrossScotland(N二161),andinclud
5、esqualitativeimpressionsfromparticipants.Theresultsindicatedexcellentinternalconsistencyforboththeimportanceandconfidencesubscales,withlowstandarderrorsofmeasurement.Anitemanalysisrevealedhighrespondentratings,supportingcontentvalidity.Significantcorrelat
