3、hAmericaandiscenteredovertheYellowstoneCaldera,thelargestsupervolcanoonthecontinent.Thecalderaisconsideredanactivevolcano;ithaseruptedwithtremendousforceseveraltimesinthelasttwomillionyears.Halftheworld'sgeothermalfeaturesareinYellowstone,fueledbythisongoingvolcanism.Lavaflows
4、androcksfromvolcaniceruptionscovermostofthelandareaofYellowstone.Hundredsofspeciesofmammals,birds,fishandreptileshavebeendocumented,includingseveralthatareeitherendangeredorthreatened.Thevastforestsandgrasslandsalsoincludeuniquespeciesofplants.Commonanimalsintheparkincludegriz
