2、educatorsonhowthesemediacanbeusedtosupportlearning,buttherehavebeenratherfewstudiessofar.Ourexplorativeinterviewstudycontributesbycriticallyexploringhowcampusstudentsperceiveusingsocialmediatosupporttheirstudiesandtheperceivedbenefitsandlimitationscomparedwithothermeans.Althoughthevastmajority
3、oftherespondentsusesocialmediafrequently,a“digitaldissonance”canbenoted,becausefewofthemfeelthattheyusesuchmediatosupporttheirstudies.Theintervieweesmainlyputforthe-mailandinstantmessaging,whichareusedamongstudentstoaskquestions,coordinategroupworkandsharefiles.SomeofthemmentionusingWikipediaa
4、ndYouTubeforretrievingcontentandFacebooktoinitiatecontactwithcoursepeers.Studentsregardsocialmediaasoneofthreekeymeansoftheeducationalexperience,alongsideface-to-facemeetingsandusingthelearningmanagementsystems,andaremainlyusedforbriefquestionsandanswers,andtocoordinategroupwork.Inconclusion,w
