3、,development,andresponsestobioticandabioticstress.Despitethefunctionaldiversity,almostallana-lyzedWRKYproteinsrecognizetheTTGACC/TW-boxsequencesand,therefore,mechanismsotherthanmererecognitionofthecoreW-boxpromoterelementsarenecessarytoachievetheregulatoryspecificityofWRKYtranscriptionfactors.
4、ResearchoverthepastseveralyearshasrevealedthatWRKYtranscriptionfactorsphysicallyinteractwithawiderangehttp://mplant.oxfordjournals.org/ofproteinswithrolesinsignaling,transcription,andchromatinremodeling.StudiesofWRKY-interactingproteinshaveprovidedimportantinsightsintotheregulationandmodeofact
5、ionofmembersoftheimportantfamilyoftranscrip-tionfactors.IthasalsoemergedthattheslightlyvariedWRKYdomainsandotherproteinmotifsconservedwithineachofthesevenWRKYsubfamiliesparticipateinprotein–proteininteractionsandmediatecomplexfunctionalinteractionsbetweenWRKYproteinsandbetweenWRKYandotherregul
