3、commonplacetointegrateclutchandenginecontrol,whiletheclutchisusedtomatchspeedsbetweentheengineandwheelsviareductiongears,poorenginecontrolcanleadtoextendedengagementtimesandrough/harshshifttransients.Thispaperproposesamethodforcombinedspeedandtorquecontrolofvehiclepowertra
4、inswithdualclutchtransmissionsforboththeengineandclutches.Thevehiclepowertrainismodelledasasimplefourdegreeoffreedomsystemwithreductiongearsandtwoclutches.Includingadetailedclutchhydraulicmodel,comprisingofthedirectactingsolenoidsandclutchpistonwiththehydraulicfluidmodelle
5、dasacompressiblefluid.Powertraincontrolisrealisedthroughcontrolofclutchsolenoidsandmanipulationoftheenginethrottleinput.Sensitivitystudyofclutchperformanceevaluatinginaccuratetorqueestimationdemonstratedvarianceintheresponseofthehydraulicsystem,withanindicativesimulationofp
6、oorestimationresultinginincreasedpowertrainvibrationduringandaftershifting.Simulationsareconductedtodemonstratethecapacityforthismethodofengineandclutchcontroltofurtherreduceshifttransientsdevelopedindualclutchtransmissionpowertrains.Theobtainedresultsalsoshowthattheadopti
