2、orsbyoptimizingthesurfaceprofileofPMispresented.Anefficientstrategyforusingfiniteelementmethod(FEM)isproposedtocalculatethecoggingtorqueofPMmotorswithdifferentPMshapedesigns.ComparedwiththeuseofgeneralFEM,thecomputingtimewiththisproposedmethodissignificantlyreduced,whichisonly0.017%ofthatrequi
