3、mathematicalmodelsofafour-speedautomatictransmissionmanufacturedbyBTRAutomotive,Australia,aredeveloped.Amodedescriptionmethodisusedtodescribethetransientshiftingprocessandamodularstructureofthetransmissionsystem,whichconsistsofatorqueconvertermodule,geartrainmodule
4、,hydraulicsystemmoduleandmodulesofclutchesandbands,ispresented.Asanapplication,thedevelopedsimulationsystemisappliedtoinvestigatethetransientperformanceoftheautomatictransmissionduringthe1–2shiftprocess.Theoutputtorqueprolespredictedbythemodelsimulationcorrelatever
