2、opmentofthevehicleindustry.Euteeticcarbidesofas.castmicrostructureofHSSarecoarsenetworkstructure,whichaffectsitshotprocessingandeventheservicepropertiesofproducts.But,atpresent,theseexistingimprovingHSSrnicrostrueturemethodsareunsatisfactory.h1ordertosolvethisproblema
3、ndrealizethehigh-qualityandhigh-efficiencycastingproduction,thisresearchproposesthesemi-solidcontinuouscastingtechnologytopmducoHSSfirstly.Intheresearch,appropriatesemi—solidcontinuouscastingprocessisestablished,M2HSScastingbilletisproducedbycooling-platesemi·solidcon
4、tinuouscastingmachine,andthethermalprocessingperformanceandservicepropertiesareinvestigatedtovalidatethepracticalityofthisnewtechnology.Theresultshowsthatthesemisolidcontinuouscastingtechnologycouldresolvetheserioussegregationofcarbidesincastingmicrostrueture.Thegrain
5、softheM2HSSsemi—solidcastingbilletarefine—round·-equiaxedgrainswhicharenotdendritesasproducedbyconventionalcasting,andtheeutecticcarbidestumintothinandbrokennetworkfromcoarsenetworkstructure.Asaresult,thischangeofmicrostruetureinevitablyleadstotheimprovementonthermopl
6、asticprocessingperformance.Althoughitsbesthotplastictemperaturerangeisn’tchangedundertheconditionofuniaxialstress,whichisfrom900℃to1200℃asconventionalstate,but,alongwiththeincreasingtemperatureinthetemperaturerange,semi-solidbillet’Sthermoplasticisincreasinglybetterth
