2、ing,lowcostandsoon.Inthefieldofsensing,comparedwiththesilicaopticalfiber(SOF),thePOFshavehighersensitivityandbiggermeasurementrange.Sotheplasticopticalfiberisbeingpaidmoreandmoreattentionandithasthequiteconsiderablepotentialmarketandtheapplicationprospect.Thispaperstudiesonthetheoryofmodecouplinga
3、ndpowerflowequationofplasticopticalfiberwaveguide.Raytracingmethodofplasticopticalfiberissimplyintroducedandsimulated.Basedontheraytracingmethodofgeometricoptics,thepropagationpropertyofraysintaperedplasticfiberisanalyzedandsimulated.Themeridianrayandtheskewraypropagationformulafortaperedplasticfi
