2、s,whichcallforitsin—depthstudy.Inthispaper,theauthorhasconductedanumberofpreliminarytheoreticalstudiesondynamicresponsesofthecylindricalcable-SFTsubjectedtothesteadyflow,andintheend,getssomepreliminarytheoryresults.Firstly,aSFTmechanicalmodelisestablishedaccordingtotheforcec

3、haracteristicsofthecylindricalcable-SFTsubjectedtothesteadyflow.Inthemodel,thepracticalassumptionsaregivenbelow:thesinglesegmentofSFTissimplifiedasasolidbody,thenlinearspringanddamperaresetuponthesolidbodytosimulaterestrictioninflictedbyothersegments,andthenaturalfrequencyof

4、thesolidbodyisequivalenttothenaturalfrequencyoftheSFTwhichsimplifiedasaelasticsimplebeam;thecablesaresimplifiedastensionstrings,everyfourofwhicharelocatedonasegmentandaresymmetricabouttheverticalplaneofthesegmentaxis;accordingtotheaxisofthesegmentandthevibrationengenderedint

5、heplaneformedbycables;thesteadyflowishorizontalandperpendiculartothesegmentaxis;thevibrationissymmetricaboutthecableplane.Secondly,onthebasisoftherevisedMorisonformulaandNewton’Smechanicslaws,agroupofdifferentialdynamicalequationsforthemechanicalmodelarededuced,namelyamathem

6、aticsmodelofasinglesegmentintheSFTsubjectedtothesteadyflow.Thensimplifythegroupofdifferentialequationsandsolveitbynumericalanalysistheory;thesolvingprocessislullby‘‘Circular4Cables—SFTCalculator'’,asmallvaluecalculatorprogrammedbytheauthor.Finally,inthepaper,referringtothera
