2、ametalfilmin1998byEbbeseneta1.,therehasbeengreatmterestintheopticalpropertiesofnanostructuredmetallicsystemfortheirrichunderlyingphysicsmechanismandnovelapplication.Astheearlyexperimentswerecarriedoutonmetalfilms,surfaceplasmonpolaritonswereintroducedtoexplaintheanomalouslyhightransmission,
3、otherinterpretation,suchasbasedon‘dynamicaldiffraction’inperiodicslitandholearraysorvariouskindsofresonantcavitymodesinone-dimensionalslitsandslitarrayshavealsobeenproposed.Reassessmentoftheformerexperimentsdatabynewnumericalstudiesandmeasurements,therehasbeenanewmodelcalledcompositediffrac
4、tedevangscentwavemodeltoexplainthephenomenon.Untillnow,thereisnoacertainconclusionforthefantasticopticalphenomenon.Itisusefulforutilizingtheopticalphenomenontorevealtheunderlyingphysicsmechanism.,However,basedonthegoverningsurfaceplasmonpolaritoaspropagationonthesurfacesofsuchnanostructures
