3、roposed,includingpointquerying,patternquerying,andtimeseriesquerying·Accordingtoproximitydefinitionincomputationalgeometry,thequeryingoftimeserieshasbeenexpandedtorangequery,proximityquery,andclosestpairquery·Thedevelopmentoftimeseriesqueryingcanprovideeffectivetechniquesfordatamining.2.Rep
4、resentationandindexingoftimeseriesBasedontheimportantpointsegmentingoftimeseries,anewsimilaritymeasurebyslopeandlengtharedeveloped.Fortheindexingoftimeseries,theVoronoidiagramhasbeenusedfortheorganizationoftimeseries,andanewindexingstructurenamedIC—indexingisproposedfortheinversequeryoftime
5、series.3.SimilarityqueryingintimeseriesWiththeKLsimilaritymeasure,anewalgorithmforwholematchingoftimeserieshasbeendeveloped.ThepatternqueryingproblemissolvedinoptimaltimebasedontheVoronoidiagram.4.OutlierdetectionintimeseriesBymakinguseoftheVoronoidiagram,anewdensity。basedoutlierdetectional
