3、atwo-electronirreversibleprocess.TheoxidationofHzO,onPtandPt+IrelectrodesurfacesisacatalyticreactionwhichisH,OzconcentrationdependentbutOzpressureindependentatlowHzO,concentration.AmperometricdetectionofHzO,isstronglyaffectedbypH,temperatureandelectrodesurfacecon
4、ditioning.AnoxidizedsurfaceisrequiredtoobtainastableH,O,response,andreductivepretreatmentoftheelectrodealwaysyieldsprolongedstabilizationtimes.Theapplicationofacelluloseacetatemembranetothesurfacecanprotecttheoxidizedsurfaceandthereforesubstantiallyreducethestabi
5、lizationtimeforH,Ozmeasurements.INTRODUCTIONThecouplingofH,O,electrochemicaloxidationtoamperometricbiosensorsasthesignaltransducingdevicehasbeenoneofthemajorsuccessesinthecourseofsensordevelopment.Forexample,themostfrequentlyusedenzymesensortodatehasbeentheglucos
