3、morphology.However,growthmechanismshavenotyetbeendevelopedthatcanexplainquantitativerelationshipsbetweenprocessingconditionsandoxidelayergeometry.Here,wepresentamodelforsteady-stategrowthoftheseamorphousfilms,incorporatingthenovelfeaturethatmetalandoxygenionsaretransportedbycoupledelectricalmi
4、grationandviscousflow.Theoxideflowinthemodelarisesnearthefilm–solutioninterfaceattheporebottoms,inresponsetotheconstraintofvolumeconservation.Thehypothesisofviscousflowwassuccessfullyvalidatedthroughdetailedcomparisonstoobservationsofthemotionoftungstentracersinthefilm.Predictionsoflocalizedtensil
5、estressnearnanoscaleridgesatthemetal–filminterfaceweresupportedbyobservationsofvoidsatthesesites.WesuggestthattheorderingofPAAmaybeexplainedbyamechanisminwhichmetal–filminterfacemotionisregulatedbythecombinationofionicmigrationintheoxideandstress-driveninterfacediffusionofmetalatoms.orousanodic
