3、edifindependenceofthesteeringwheelangletheyawmomentonthecarcanbecontrolled.ThemaintaskofESPasanactivesafetysystemis,however,tolimittheslipangleofthevehicleinordertopreventvehiclespin.ESPcancontroltheyawmomentonthecarbycontrollingthevalueoftheslipateachwh
4、eel.Thiscanbeshownbytheinfluenceofsomebrakeslipvalueattheleftfronttireofafreerollingcarinarightturn(Fig.1).isthelateralforceonthefreerollingtire.Becauseofthebrakeslipthelateralforcewillbereducedtowhereitisassumed,thatneitherthenormalforcenorthetireslipan
